The Indy 500 was today. I thought it was tomorrow. Shows you how much of a fan I am.

Seems that it's over. Here's an excerpt from the (now, one-paged) official site:

"Gil de Ferran edged Marlboro Team Penske teammate Helio Castroneves by .2990 of a second to win the 87th Indianapolis 500, denying Castroneves' chance to become the first driver to win the 'Greatest Spectacle in Racing' three consecutive times."

Missed it again. :-( Oh, well. Maybe next year...
